So it begins
SO IT BEGINS.
Welcome to the Relentless 2800 Team Challenge 2026. We’re thrilled to have you along for the ride. Buckle up, it’s gonna be fun.
REMEMBER, IT’S A CHALLENGE, NOT A RACE.
You’ll hear this a lot. Relentless is a CHALLENGE, not a RACE. Sometimes it can be a little deflating to see teams that jump out way in front, but over the course of the next few weeks, you’ll start to find your rhythm and your pack. Every RM can help your team, so log them, even if it’s a light day.
WHERE ARE WE?
As you know, 2800 miles is the distance from New York City to LA. By the time you read this, if you’re on track, you can probably smell the delicious aroma of chocolate in the air as you pass by Hershey, PA. Hey, break into a KitKat, you’ve earned it.
“I’M STILL GETTING APP GLITCHES!”
Dude, we get it, and we’re fixing them as fast as our MASSIVE development team* can type. If you have an issue, shoot us a note. We check emails between workouts. support@relentless2800.com

HOW MANY RMs DO I GET FOR _________?
Due to Winter Olympics season, we’ve been getting a bunch of snow-related event questions. Here’s how to log the following:
Downhill Skiing: Timed workout for time actually moving down hill, minus 1 RM per Fireball shot.
Bobsled: .05 RM per run. Sorry, you can only count that little sprint portion.
Luge: 1 RM per run. 2 if it’s an Olympic record. Good luck.
Curling: Only the sweeper broom people get RMs. The rock pusher guy is barely moving.
Remember, Relentless is built on the honor system. If you feel like you worked out, count it. If no category really makes sense, log it under Timed Workout.
YOU CAN DELETE A LOGGED EFFORT
If you fat-finger a log entry and accidentally log 100 instead of 10, simply tap on “see all activity” under your profile image and delete it. Problem solved.
WHAT YOU CAN NOT LOG
You can NOT just look at your step count at the end of the day on your FitBit and log that. That’s just walking around. Everybody does that.
“REST DAYS? THAT’S NEW.”
Yep. In order to “finish,” each member of your team will need to log 5 rest days. (Not that you care, but since the Lent season is actually 46 days, this helps make the challenge more like 40 days. Sort of.)
SHOUT OUTS
- We Carry The Boats: This team was up before dawn on Wednesday, running miles with headlamps. We love to see that effort, boys!
- Sidney Senior: You’ll notice this team towards the top of the list of All Teams Progress. What you might not know is that they’re a bunch of senior citizens from Sidney, Ohio. This is their poster at the local YMCA. Let’s GO!
- Zanman!: We got this great quote from Zanman (best name ever). We thought we’d share it here.
“My journey has been about growth mentally, physically, and spiritually. Running started as a way to stay in shape, but it became therapy, discipline, and a way to clear my mind. As a leader, husband, and father, I know consistency matters, not just in miles but in life. I believe in pushing forward, staying positive, and helping others grow along the way. I joined Relentless 2800 because I believe accountability and community make us stronger, and I want to keep challenging myself to be better every single day.” - Zanman
OTHER STUFF
DON’T FORGET THE 5K TODAY ONLY
Run/walk one and log it. If you’re in Cincinnati, COME TO THIS. We’d love to see you.
KEEP INVITING, YA’LL
We discovered last year that Relentless is a really great tool to help fight the loneliness epidemic. It’s not too late to keep adding to your team (if you’re less than 12). Invite more folks in. There’s power in an invitation.
GET THAT SWAG
Did I mention that the sweatshirt is really nice? It is. HQ is pretty much wearing them every day.

That little pacekeeper pin is gonna keep moving, relentlessly. But don’t lose heart. Just keep logging!
Thanks for joining us. Did we mention that this is going to be fun?
