DUUUUUDE. IT’S DAY 17.
THE RUNDOWN VOL 3: 3/6/26
DUUUUUDE.
IT’S DAY 17.
TODAY IS BIG LEBOWSKI DAY. (NOT EVEN KIDDING)
In honor of The Dude, pour yourself a white Russian and get ready to GO BOWLING! That’s right, for the next 10 days, you’ll get some RMs just for knocking down pins. The log is a one-time use, and though you won’t get bonus points, we HIGHLY encourage you to do this as a team if you can.
WELCOME TO DEVIL’S ELBOW, MO.
At the end of the day Friday, you should be at about 1,200 RMs. In other words, you’re rolling past Devil’s Elbow, MO. I don’t know much about Devil’s Elbow other than the name is sweet, and it reminds me of the time I played way too much pickleball and got tennis elbow. Tennis is awesome, Devil’s Elbow would be a MUCH better name.
Seventeen days in, you can see why this challenge is called RELENTLESS. It’s hard. And we’re not even HALF WAY. (In other words, you have plenty of time to catch that Pace Setter!)
SPEAKING OF HARD: TAKE A REST DAY FOR THE LOVE
HQ has been FLOODED* with questions about the Rest Day requirement. Here’s the skinny: every single member of your team has to take 5 rest days over the course of this challenge in order for your team to finish.
For those of you who love reading, here are some more words about why that is. First, R2800 is billed as a 40-Day Challenge. But as we ALL** know, the Lent season is 46 days (the 6 Sundays don’t count), not 40. So rest days help with the math. Second, rest is actually a super healthy rhythm, not just for your body, but for your life. So, take a day off. You’re welcome.
*one question from Pretty Aunt Jan, she emailed us.
** it turns out that noone knows this.
SO HOW EXACTLY DOES MY TEAM WIN!?!?
You “win” by finishing the challenge before Easter. (That’s Saturday, April 4, 11:59 pm. Don’t email us and ask us what time zone…this is the first moment I’ve even thought about that.)
Here is exactly how to “finish.” Let’s look at the Sidney Senior example below:
1: This number will need to be 2,800.
2, 3, 4: These 3 categories will need to be green, which means you’ve earned at least 700 RMs in each.
5: “R” = Rest. You’ll need ALL YOUR REST days completed.
If all goes exactly as planned, then that big red bar will turn green, and you did it!
By the way, you can keep racking up RMs until Easter, so maybe see how far you can go!
BIG NEWS
NEW FOR WEEKENDS: THE ZEEKEND WARRIOR WORKOUT!
You’ll see a new log category starting this Saturday: ZEEKEND WARRIORS.
Our good friend Zeek over at Power Clean Wipes is creating a weekend home workout. The workout is specifically designed for you to do at home with no weights, and it will take you about 30 minutes. The hack is that if you do it, you’ll earn 7 RMs! That’s double-trouble. Look for another pop-up banner in the app to find the workout details and get after it. It will be new every weekend moving forward. Thanks, Zeek!
SHOUT-OUTS
This is an exciting GLOBAL edition of “Shout-Outs”!! R2800 is taking on THE WORLD.
INDIA
Huge shout-out to Lori V (Relentlessly Women) and Teri J (Double Gym & Tonics), who experienced the original Color Run (The Holi Festival in Kolkata, India). Teri and Lori are logging RMs doing hotel room workouts and supporting the amazing work of Joyya. Read about Joyya here.
JAPAN
Since I know you’re reading every single social post, you might have already seen the incredible story of Megan K (photo below) and Kristin M (Electrolytes and Vibes). Both ladies recently completed the Tokyo Marathon. That’s over 80 RMs! Well done, ladies, we’re proud of you!
TANZANIA
Nicole H (also Electrolytes and Vibes) is climbing Mt Kilimanjaro you guys! Oh, and get this, she’s doing it with a group of people who have all donated a kidney to someone. (Donating a kidney isn’t an RM category YET, but we’re working on adding it for next year.) Seriously though, Nicole, you inspire us. Here’s a short blurb from the event website:
KDA Kilimanjaro, March 2026 -A group of 16 kidney donors will climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa, trekking to nearly 20,000 feet of elevation over the course of eight days. They will summit on March 12, 2026 which is World Kidney Day! Their goal is to demonstrate that living organ donors can accomplish any physical challenge that could be achieved by a person with two kidneys.
Sheesh, Electrolytes and Vibes, you guys are really showing off. We love it.
We LOVE hearing about your team. Team leaders, shoot us a note HERE so we can brag on your team!!
