That dang pacesetter dot is NO JOKE.
WELCOME TO R1000 WEEK 1!
Welp, we’re off and running, and if your team is anything like mine, this challenge is already pushing you. (We’re 67 RMs behind pace, yikes.) On behalf of HQ, thank you SO MUCH for signing up for this adventure. This is R1000’s beta test, and it’s already been a blast.
REMEMBER, IT’S A CHALLENGE, NOT A RACE.
You’ll hear this a lot. Relentless is a CHALLENGE, not a RACE. Sometimes it can be a little deflating to see teams that jump out way in front, but over the course of the next few weeks, you’ll start to find your rhythm and your pack. Every RM can help your team, so log them, even if it’s a light day.
SOME PRO TIPS & FAQs
GATES. WHAT’S UP WITH GATES?
Every 200 RMs, your team will come to an abrupt stop where no logging is possible. MOST of you have already hit one (sorry for the bug in the system that got some of you trapped; our HUGE TEAM* of engineers has that fixed). You’ll be given a team challenge. Do it to unlock the log button and get back on track. (“Hey LollieBoneMcValBob, DO YOUR CRUNCHES!”)
BTW: If the gate doesn’t unlock, try logging a few more RMs and see if that does it. Sometimes logging the exact amount leading up to a gate glitches the gate sensors. Still glitching? Email us at support@relentless2800.com

IDK, it’s fun to see who loves beef jerky on a road trip. Apparently most of you.
TRY TO LOG RIGHT AWAY
It’s cool if you go back and look at your Strava and then log everything for the week, but it’s not that cool. Try logging as soon as you finish your workout. It helps keep our data cleaner and makes it look less like you’re cheating. Not that you’d cheat. That’d be dumb.
HEY FITBIT GUY….
Remember, you can NOT just look at your step count at the end of the day on your Fitbit and log that. That’s just walking around. Everybody does that. R1000 is designed for intentional exercise. Which is challenging. Which is why we put the word “challenge” in the name.
