AND we’re off
THE RELENTLESS 2800 FRIDAY DIGEST
We’ll send out an update with news and stuff each Friday.
LET THE GAMES BEGIN
We’re thrilled to kick off Relentless 2800 the 2025 edition. We’ve got more participants than we’ve ever had, and we can’t wait to see how this thing goes. Welcome to the challenge.
IT’S A CHALLENGE, NOT A RACE.
You’ll hear this a lot. Relentless is a CHALLENGE, not a RACE. Sure, some teams (*cough, PINK PONY CLUB *cough) seem to be doing nothing but working out. But for the rest of us humans, the goal is to be active as often as possible and work as a team to log those RMs. You’ve got this. If all you can do is 15 minutes of jumping jacks, get it done and log it!
WHERE ARE WE?
As you know, 2800 miles is the distance from New York City to LA. By the time you read this, if you’re on track, you should be approaching 210 miles and Mechanicsburg, PA. (I’m sure you already know this, but every New Year's Eve in Mechanicsburg, they drop a wrench to remember the mechanics. True story.)
IT’S OUR BETA YEAR, Y’ALL
This app has been a labor of love, and we think, all things considered, it’s running SMOOTH. That said, if you do have problems or issues, please let us know. (You can let us know you love it, too ; ) support@relentless2800.com
HOW DO I LOG _______ (Golf, Parasailing, Dance Class, Horse Polo Match, Kayaking with the current, Kayaking against the current…)?
Running and biking are pretty simple, but we’ve heard your questions; ‘What counts as a timed workout?” The simplest answer is: use your best judgment. The heart behind Relentless is that it pushes you to exercise! If you feel like you pushed yourself, log it, and feel great about it. (If you sat on the benchpress bench for 45 minutes and scrolled Insta…don’t log it.) Double-check the FAQ for more details on logging.
YOU CAN DELETE A LOGGED EFFORT
If you fat-finger a log entry and accidentally log 100 instead of 10, simply tap on “see all activity” under your profile image and delete it. Problem solved.
SHOUT OUTS
- The Pink Pony Club: You guys have come out of the gates STRONG. Not to mention, the Chappell Roan song gets stuck in our heads every time we read your name. Hat tip to a great name, a song about a person travelling from Tennessee to LA. Smart.
- The Rainy Midnight 5K Runners!: We had about 20 folks brave the rain for our annual 5K midnight run. WARRIORS.
- Flex Appeal: This team made up entirely of some lovely ladies from the University of Cincinnati showed up in FORCE for the midnight run. Epic.
WHY DID THIS THING START IN THE FIRST PLACE?
Read the Manifesto here.
BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY…
We discovered last year that Relentless is a really great tool to help fight the loneliness epidemic. It’s not too late to keep adding to your team. Invite more folks in. There’s power in an invitation.
GET THAT SWAG
Did I mention that the sweatshirt is really nice? It is. HQ is pretty much wearing them every day.

LASTLY, KEEP IT UP
That little pacekeeper pin is gonna keep moving, relentlessly. But don’t lose heart. Just keep logging!
Thanks for joining us. Onward.
