ONE. WEEK. LEFT.
THE RUNDOWN VOL 6: 3/27/26
ONE. WEEK. LEFT.
YOU GOT THIS
We’re THIRTY NINE days into this challenge, folks. The point where most people quit is WAY behind you. YOU ARE NOT A QUITTER.
If you’re feeling drained, discouraged, or tempted to throw in the towel, don’t. Keep going. This challenge has never been about who finishes first — it’s about getting everyone across the finish line. We’re just as fired up watching the last teammate hit 2800 as we are cheering on the ones who crushed it early.
DOUBLE POINTS WEEK COMING AT YA!
Oh you read that right buddy, next week we’re dropping three new logs with the word PARTNER in the title. (It’s like Double Points day at Jersey Mike’s, my favorite day EVER.) Here’s what it means for R2800: Do any Bike, Run/Walk, or Workout with another actual human being, and you get to log all of your RMs and all of theirs! (One-time use.)
EXAMPLE: Imagine a beautiful and kind couple, “Raul” and “Amanda” (completely fictional characters), jump on their bikes and ride a brisk 25 miles TOGETHER. Raul gets to log 50 RMs, and so does Amanda! That would be 100 RMs for their fictitious Super team! WOW. Same goes for working out and run/walk.
REST DAYS, WE HEARD YOU. LOUD AND CLEAR.
If you’re reading these words right now, I can guarantee that you are not the problem. You’re probably reading this with a little cloud of fury forming over your head because you have someone on your team who seemingly hasn’t opened the app since day one, and they aren’t TAKING THEIR FREAKING REST DAYS!!. Yeah, I get it. Relax. Focus on filling those buckets and getting that 2,800. We see ya, and we’ll take care of ya.
SPEAKING OF REST: WELCOME TO SLEEP WEEK!
Monday we’re dropping Sleep Week. One of the healthiest things you can do for your body is sleep. (Did you know LeBron James often sleeps 10 hours a night, and on game days adds a 2-hour nap? That’s 12 hours. LeBron knows.) Next week, any time you get a solid 8-hours, you can log it for 1 RM. Sweet!
We were so inspired by health coach Jessica Morris (Team: Distance Divas) comments on the incredible importance of sleep. Here is the full podcast - jump to 42:20 and turn up the volume.
WHERE ARE WE?
Flagstaff, AZ. Fun fact: When Forrest Gump was doing his Relentless 2800 challenge, remember the scene where the t-shirt guy was looking for an idea and came up with the smiley face on the yellow shirt? That scene was filmed in Flagstaff.
CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES, C’MON
Darkly pen in the date Monday, April 13, on your calendar.
For those local to Cincinnati, we’re having a Relentless 2800 Celebration at MadTree in Oakley. Probably from 6-8pm. More details to come.
SWAG FTW
You’ve earned some sweet swag. Get some and wear it with pride.
DON’T FORGET: PRIZES
Any team that hits that 2800 mark by next Saturday at 11:59pm will be entered to win some prizes! PRIZES!!

SHOUT-OUTS
HUSTLE HONEYS: Madison and Sara don’t have a bike, but they've been breaking into their relatives' house to use the stationary bike. You gotta do whatever it takes, amiright!?
I love this story about “going the extra mile for your team”:
We are Yo Mama So Relentless -- Moms in Cincy, Dayton, Cleveland, and South Carolina: “My team is down to our last 7 biking miles, and the [most senior] member of our team sent this to the group chat:
I said to my husband before dinner, “ I need to go bike, my team needs me.’ Let me be really clear, that is the most athletic thing I’ve ever said in my life! Lol. Funny learning how to be athletic in your 50s.
She logged one glorious mile
Highlands Compadres:
“Highlands Compadres have rallied through some challenges. Gary was iffy at the start with bad foot pain. He pushed through the pain and ended up logging 10% of our RMs. He pressed hard, but unfortunately, he ended up with a legit injury. The next day, Michael came down with the same injury. Matching boots. These guys are still finding ways to log RMs though!”
There is one week remaining. Dig in. Finish strong. You got this!
